vancouver, canada I saw you first while waiting in a long line in front of the customs offices at Vancouver airport. You were roughly half a line in front of me and I smiled at you when I saw you. Once, you even smiled back. Then we met again at the Immigration office and I sat right next to you. We talked a little and I guessed your accent incorrectly as you are not from Spain but from France. I told you I am German. Then you continued reading your book and I took out my laptop to write a little. I think your book was named something like "J'ai perdu mon job". It was definitely in French. After a bit of waiting, we both got our working permit for our work & travel year and continued talking a little before departing. You told me that you will stay at a small hotel in Vancouver for which your company pays and that you are working in the Visual Effects industry. I told you I was looking for a job as a Park Ranger somewhere in Canada. We also talked about the prices to rent apartments in Vancouver, Singapore and London. You told me that you worked in Singapore before. I offered to drive you to your hotel in my rental car but you said you wanted to take a taxi. Before you went, you asked me about my contact details and I gave you two telephone numbers. Now I know that the Canadian number will never work again because the provider deleted it. Up to now, you did not contact me on the German number. Could be my fault since I did not even ask you about your name or your number, sorry. I wish I had. Blew my chance on 03/01/2017 @ 13:00
